About Us

Bruce Menzies was born in Subiaco, and has a Bachelor of Law from the University of Western Australia and a Post-graduate Diploma of Counselling from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Nationally Accredited mediator and a registered Family Dispute Resolution provider.

Bruce spent many years as a family lawyer before training and working as a mediator, both privately and with non-profit organisations.

Since 1996 Bruce has worked with separated couples to resolve disputes around children and property. His experience also covers workplace, neighbourhood and community issues, and he offers conflict resolution training and supervision for other mediators.

The mysteries of the intimate relationship continue to challenge and inspire his work as a counsellor with couples and individuals.

In his leisure hours Bruce enjoys writing, reading, movies, and bike riding – as well as his passion for football and cricket.

Danièle Prongué trained as a teacher in her native Switzerland, and migrated to Australia in 1985, becoming an ‘Aussie’ a year later. For over 30 years she has explored her interest in personal growth and therapeutic work and while overseas has co-facilitated meditation and mindfulness groups.

Danièle has a Bachelor of Counselling from Notre Dame University and is a Qualified Member of the Australian Counselling Association. She has completed Couples Therapy Training at the Lake Centre in Shenton Park and Mums and Dads Forever Facilitator Training at Anglicare WA. She has attended training in family therapy at the Systemic Consultation Centre in Subiaco.

Her experience includes working with primary mental health clients and she has substantial understanding of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. She has worked with clients experiencing alcohol and other drug problems, encouraging self-responsibility and empowering clients to take control of their own lives.

Away from work, she enjoys reading, yoga, swimming, gardening, the arts and long strolls by the ocean.
